A most attractive grade 2 listed thatched cottage with original beams and exposed stonework, Freelands makes the perfect choice for your holiday accommodation. Situated in the pretty Dartmoor village of Manaton, 50 meters from the Kestor inn, This is one of the best walking areas in the country with stunning scenery and award winning local attractions.

Only a short drive away are the neighbouring towns of Bovey Tracey, Moretonhampstead, Chagford and Widecombe which have a good range of facilities such as banks, supermarkets and swimming pools. The South Devon coast is only a 25 minute drive away and offers a huge variety of activities

Accommodation: Front door into sitting room with exposed granite walls, original oak beams and feature inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner. Plenty of comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, TV with DVD also a CD player.

Through Archway into compact well equipped Kitchen with electric oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine. (A tumble dryer is situated in the stone shed).

Upstairs to a pretty double bedroom with wrought iron bed and fitted wardrobe, twin room with 3ft beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Outside: Gated Parking space and small patio area to side of house, stone built shed, small well stocked garden to front, 3 full size mountain bikes are available for use at own risk.

Telephone with honesty box. For incoming and local and national calls which are free after 6pm and at the weekend. Limited mobile reception in Manaton.

Electricity is free in summer but £15.00 per week in winter from end September to Spring Bank Holiday.

Heating (Eco-warm radiators which produce instant economical heat) & woodburner laid up ready to use.

Parking for one car off road, further on road parking available
